We are not accepting employment applications for full or part time police officer positions at this time. If you would like to receive notice of openings, please mail a letter and enclose a SASE.

Candidates for police officer must be eligible to be licensed in the State of Minnesota, and pass Orono Police Department's written test, physical agility test, oral interviews, medical and psychological exams and a thorough background check.

At the Orono Police Department, we are looking for candidates who care about people and treat them right, who have a service orientation, and want to be the most excellent law enforcement officers they can be. We believe the traits of a successful police officer are
