Seven chaplains from as many churches in the neighboring communities provide support to five police departments. Each chaplain is an ordained minister with at least three years of parish experience and has served in the area at least six months. At all times pagers are carried by two
chaplains who rotate "on call" responsibilities every two to three weeks.
