The attack warning signal is a 5 minute wavering tone on sirens or 5 minutes of continuous short blasts on horns or other devices. This signal is used for no other purpose. This signal means that an attack against this country is imminent or underway and that life-saving actions should be taken immediately.

The Lake Minnetonka Regional Emergency managers have cooperated on a grant to purchase a trailer that is stocked with emergency equipment and available to any of the lake communities as needed. It is currently housed at the Deephaven Police Department.
