If you are concerned about a possible medical emergency, don't attempt to look up a telephone number. Just call 9-1-1. This number will provide you with all the help you may need, whether it involves Medical, Fire, Rescue or Police Services.
After you have called 9-1-1, police officers and an ambulance are dispatched to your location. Rescue squads from the Fire Department may also be started.
Orono officers are trained as First Responders. The ambulance service is staffed by Paramedics. The Rescue units are staffed by First Responders and EMT's. The ambulance is in direct contact with emergency room doctors.

North Memorial Hospital operates a Level 1 trauma center. North Ambulance is backed up by Waconia and Hennepin County Medical Center ambulance service as needed.
